ANALYSIS AND MODELLING OF TRACIAL CAVITY AIR FLOW PATTEN
The lungs are a pair of spongy, air-filled organs located on either side of the chest (thorax). The trachea (windpipe) conducts inhaled air into the lungs through its tubular branches, called bronchi. The bronchi then divide into smaller and smaller branches (bronchioles)
One in 12 people (about 25 million, or 8% of the population) had asthma in 2009, compared with 1 in 14 (about 20 million, or 7%) in 2001. More than half (53%) of people with asthma had an asthma attack in 2008
235 million people currently suffer from asthma. It is a common disease among children. Most asthma-related deaths occur in low- and lower-middle income countries

To model the tracheal cavity geometrical features and analyse the airflow pattern for edematic conditions.
Two view the drug delivery and the medication through 3 dimensional-virtual reality

Tracheal edema causes obstruction in air flow. When an aerosol is delivered via tracheal cavity, due to the presence of edema the aerosol doesn't reach the last alveoli.
uHence the disease is not treated effectively . So, the pressure value at which the aerosol flow is aided is found and set to enhance the delivery of aerosol
To design a tracheal model using CATIA
To analyse the flow parameters for the designed model using CFD
In this study we have analysed the airflow pattern for edematic case.
Our Study indicates a pronounced variation in pressure and velocity for edematic conditions.
To find the size of the blockage using pressure variation.
To find the exact airway pressure to aid the efficient delivery of drug using nebulizer to the alveoli in asthma patients with edema condition.
"3dimensional -virtual view"- to find out the exact medication of the patient.
We are seeking funds to develop this project as a prototype
And making the nebulizer device – with our standards, pressure values
Quality and cost-effective device
Using the 3d – virtual concept-the patient can see his recovery practically
